hi all.
so now having so much trouble with this school,my mother tells me i should look elsewhere in majors and careers besides the arts.
i love the arts...but perhaps my mother is right.
so after watching bravo, i kinda lookking at real estate? is that weird? probably...but anyways the outlook is faster than average, and schooling could either be between 3 weeks to only 2 years, then you go straight into your career. and if i got a mentor i have a better chance at being successful.
i'm not giving up on photography yet, but it would be smart to also loook into other careers too.
its so hard picking out a career. especially when i am spending 30,000 dollars to a school that isn't teaching me anything thats directly related to my major because of a freshmen year requirements.
plus even if i leave my major, photography will always be with me anyways. it's something i could never really give up.
lee what do you think?

Elise ~ Follow you heart ..make sure that real estate is really where it’s at for you before making a change ..generally that’s more suited to fast-talking sales types who make split second decisions about people and houses. For the thoughtful-deliberate style that you have ~ the digital arts work well ..anything from magazine layout to web-design ..and you’re already in a great place for that ..moreover, it involves photography which you already know you’re into. Other possibilities that come to mind are: network administrator ..paralegal ..research assistant ..crime scene investigator ..interior designer ..accountant ..software tester ..editor ..event planner (like banquets and conferences for the hotel industry) ..but most important of all ~ have an interesting college experience ..! It’ll pay of like a royal flush wherever you go afterwards. Lee
As boring as things like accounting or network admin. might sound ..what you learn in school is exactly what you do on the job ..they are not that technical ..a few basic principles are all you need ..the most successful accountants (like CFO’s) need to be creative ..in addition, the opportunities for women are greater now than ever before. I don’t know why.
Do you ever watch ‘Inside the actors studio’ on bravo ..?
